Congratulations to the 17th President of the Philippines: Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.

The Filipinos have decided – and we now welcome the dawn of a new age in The Pearl of the Orient Sea.

President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Romualdez Marcos Jr. now serves at the helm of the Executive branch as the 17th Chief Executive of the Philippines after 30 years of service.

This is after his stint in the Legislative branch from 2007-to 2010 as a member of the House of Representatives and in the following years until 2016 as a Senator.

A total of 54 bills are passed into law, either as authored, co-authored, sponsored, or co-sponsored by President Marcos Jr.. In addition, 42 others indirectly contributed to existing laws.

Filipino families will be protected from insurgents, drug lords, calamities, and pollution.

Fighting insurgents will definitely be a priority of his administration now that he is the President.

His revitalized war on drugs will incorporate prevention, education, and rehabilitation, which would give a second chance to addicts.

More response and preventive measures will be put in place against natural disasters, such as additional evacuation centers and faster communication.

The future generation of Filipinos will also benefit from conserving the forests and massive reforestation efforts.

Public officials can also worry less now about abusive access to their respective SALNs, so they can focus on doing their jobs.

We should expect a new golden age in the Philippines that will benefit both the poor and the economically-advantaged members of society.

Prosperity will prevail against increasing food prices and energy costs that affect many Filipinos.

Being a child of a former Philippine President like ex-presidents Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo and Benigno Aquino III, President Marcos Jr. can do so much now that he can decide on his own.

Couple that with the support that can be garnered even from his competitors, he can make the Philippines a truly great country again.

Political colors would not be a problem for him, which would reflect the goal of the UniTeam.

The 2022 Elections have shown that Filipinos are capable of unity towards a great cause – and this could further extend to international relations.

The Marcos Presidency could pave the way toward the unity between our neighbor country China and the United States.

Bilateral agreements with China and a special partnership as an initiative of the United States can make the Philippines a bridge between the two.

President BBM has garnered a total of 31,103,605 votes, more than half of the total number of votes.

In all but two of the regions in the Philippines, President Marcos Jr. won the hearts of the majority of the people.

As the father of three sons, he can also stand as the father of us Filipinos who will vow to protect and nurture us, especially the out-of-school-youth and marginalized sector, which suffered much during the pandemic.

In tandem with Vice President Sara Duterte, we have assurance that President Bongbong Marcos will continue the projects and programs initiated by the previous administration.
