6 Months ban on hiring expat workers in 10 Sectors: See the full list of Professions

A six-month ban on hiring expat workers in certain sectors has been imposed by the Ministry of Manpower (MoM) in Oman.

Minister of Manpower Abdullah bin Nasser Al Bakri issued ministerial decree 2018/38 on Sunday in this regard.

The affected sectors include Information Technology (IT), media, air traffic management, engineering, accounting and finance, technicians, insurance, marketing and sales, administration and human resources.

Here’s the full list of professions that have been impacted by the decision:
