Book Your Next Flight Early at a Cheaper Price

Being away from your family, whether it’s just a few months or years, can really make you homesick. The same is true for the family of every OFW left behind in the Philippines. The best solution for this pain in your heart is to book a flight and embrace your loved ones with a warm hug.

If you have traveling plans, what is your worry about pursuing them? Mostly, work commitment problems could be financial. When all plan is good, but money is the problem, you have another option! That is, to book your flight at a lower price. Yes, you read it right. There are ways how to make your next flight worthwhile with fewer worries regarding the cost.

Whether it’s domestic or international travel, a lower price is always an option. But, not everyone knows how and when is the best booking time. That’s why consider yourself lucky to have read this helpful article that teaches you timing over worrying and patience to finally have an inexpensive trip.

Do you honestly believe that there is a perfect booking day to get a lower price? Then, kindly scrap that. There have been existing articles online that claim Tuesday and Wednesday as the cheapest days for booking. It sounds amazing at first until no evidence is provided. In fact, most flight studies have shown that any time of the day is a perfect time to book a flight, as long as it’s earlier than your expected or planned travel date. Booking 3-4 months prior to the departure is the best option when looking for a domestic flight, one study said. Another claim from a traveling website owner has also said that you must choose your destination and from there pick which day is it cheaper. Most of the time, booking 8-10 months ahead for an international flight is preferable.

For example, KAYAK, which is a traveling website for Dubai to Manila flights, claims that the best way to have a lower price is to visit a traveling website and do research. The flight from the Middle East to the Philippines can either be booked through Cebu Pacific, Emirates, or others that you prefer. Sometimes, there is also cheaper price offered by Qatar Airways from Kuwait or Abu Dhabi to Manila. Two traveling websites for the Middle East to Philippine flights have both considered January as the best month to book a flight.

Now, it is also a good idea that family members go abroad instead for an instant vacation to meet their working Mom, Dad, kapatid, tito, or tita. Again, booking it early is the best time for a cheap flight. It is completely normal to book flights months or even a year in advance, taking advantage of special offers or promo discounts.

Keep in mind that changing the flight date could incur fees, so don’t forget to set the flight date on your calendars. If possible, check cancellation or rebooking policies to give you some leeway in case some emergencies happen. Ensure you got the correct baggage allowance or pack light to avoid excessive baggage fees.
