Sultanate of Oman takes steps to curb the coronavirus spread including shutting schools and all educational institutions for a month from Sunday, March 15, 2020.
The High Committee for dealing with COVID-19 urged families to keep students at home through this one month period and called on everyone to not go to public gatherings. Requirements for prevention and care against COVID-19 should be followed at the individual and community levels, the statement said.
