Expat with expired visas not allowed to return to Oman

During the 17th press conference of the Supreme Committee on COVID-19 on Thursday, October 15, 2020.

Brigadier Saeed Al Asimi said: There is a decision from the Supreme Committee to allow the return of residents who are outside the Sultanate and hold valid residency only. Those whose residency has expired will not be allowed to return.”

Brigadier Al Asmi: At present, the issuance of visas is suspended and not allowed, although, for family, entry is only available for those with valid residency.

Currently, the Supreme Committee has allowed expat residents with valid visas to return to Oman since the reopening of airports in the country.
