The initial repatriation flight from Oman to the Philippines for Filipino nationals finally arrived in NAIA at around 9:50PM local time June 20, 2020. Oman Air flight WY2843 with more or less 300 Filipino nationals touched down NAIA.

For those OFWs who have applied for repatriation, as per the advisory from the Philippine Embassy, subsequent repatriation flights are being arranged.
“As this is the initial repatriation flight, the public is informed that subsequent repatriation flights are being arranged. Those who have submitted requests for repatriation assistance by way of the online portal and are not in the initial repatriation flight shall be included in subsequent repatriation flights.
The Embassy assures that it shall continue to arrange for repatriation flights to the Philippines for Filipino nationals in Oman affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and who wish to be repatriated until airline and airport operations are normalized. Advisories shall be issued as details of the repatriation flights are finalized.”
