POLO OWWA, Muscat, Oman have released the guidelines on how OFWs in Oman can apply for the one-time financial assistance amounting to PHP10,000 or USD200, or the equivalent amount in their host countries, under the Department of Labor and Employment’s AKAP (Abot Kamay ang Pagtulong) program for OFWs.
Guidelines on “DOLE-AKAP for OFWs:
1. Download application(Click here) and send to : polomuscat.akap@gmail.com together with required documents.
2. POLO will evaluate and process application.
3. POLO to notify OFW about status of application.
4. Once approved, POLO to transfer ($200/P10,000) financial assistance thru bank account.
