In a meeting chaired by the Minister of Interior, H.E. Sayyid Hamoud bin Faisal Al Busaidi, to discuss developments of the pandemic in the Sultanate. Oman’s Supreme Committee for COVID-19 has issued a statement after convening today Monday, September 7.
In a statement issued online, the Supreme Committee said that it has studied the re-opening of international aviation operations, and have decided that as of October 1, 2020, international air travel will be permitted to resume from Oman.
As per the Committee, flights should be scheduled in adherence to the required health regulations in the destination countries and, as per agreements between other airline companies.
