With the announcement of the first homegrown fully-integrated shopping portal, the early stage of online shopping in Oman is about to change.
Jeeblee Online is the first-of-its-kind Omani firm to allow consumers to purchase online, according to the Ministry of Commerce and Industry.
The announcement of the launch was made at the Oman E-Commerce Conference, which was held this week.
The E-mall has 60 local and international brands and promises to deliver goods to consumers within 24-48 hours in Oman. In a tweet, Ali al Lawati, owner of the Jeeblee Online, said, “The first E-mall in the sultanate has been unveiled. The platform will have a lot of brands and bring shopping to the fingertips of the people.”
The two-day conference was attended by executives in the field of e-commerce from across the world.
Jeeblee Online is Oman’s first store-based multi-category e-Mall that offers customers the most convenient and trusted shopping experience, anytime anywhere.
Jeeblee Online allows people to conveniently shop for products at their favourite retail shops in the region. It is an exciting digital alternative to the brick-and-mortar mega shopping mall. The e-Mall helps retailers overcome the constraints of location, space and time by allowing them to be at the fingertips of any potential customer, anywhere and anytime by opening a digital version of their physical store at Jeeblee Online.
