List of countries allowed visa-free entry to Philippines

In line with the country’s refreshed tourism campaign inviting foreign tourists to the Philippines, the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) on Tuesday released the list of nationals allowed visa-free entry to the country.

The list, styled with the new font and logo for the country’s official tourism slogan “It’s More Fun in the Philippines”, includes the duration nationals could stay in the Philippines without securing a visa.

The countries and territories are as follow (graphics courtesy of DFA):

Under the 2016-2022 National Tourism Development Plan, the country seeks to achieve 8.2 million foreign tourists by the end of 2019.

Last year, it reached record-breaking arrivals of 7.1 million foreign visitors, surpassing the 6,620,908 figures in 2017 by 7.68 percent.

With the re-opening of Boracay following its six-month closure to pave way for an intensive rehabilitation as well as with the ongoing efforts of the national government to replicate the revamp in other Filipino tourist destinations, the Department of Tourism is optimistic its advocacy for sustainable tourism would appeal to more international tourists to come visit the Philippines.
