List of new commercial and industrial activities to re-open

The Supreme Committee has allowed the seventh package of activities that can be reopened from December 1.

The Supreme Committee in charge of dealing with COVID-19 held a meeting today and decided to reopen a new package of commercial and industrial activities, with the necessity of these activities adhering to preventive measures.

Following are the activities that can be reopened:

  1. Cinema halls
  2. Bowling centres
  3. Parks, beaches and public places
  4. Restaurant area in commercial complexes
  5. Retail stores in Al Mawaleh Central Market
  6. Opening the exhibitions and conferences sector
  7. Health clubs
  8. Kids nurseries and kindergartens
  9. Halls for weddings and events (capacity must not exceed 50 people)
  10. Amusement games halls
  11. Tent rental shops
  12. Parking spaces at shopping malls can now open at 100% capacity.
  13. Children Under-12 can enter malls.
  14. Opening tourist sites (including museums and forts)
  15. Rehabilitation and treatment centers
  16. Issuing tourist visas
  17. Children’s play area.
  18. Changing (trial) rooms.
