Mocha Uson is running for a seat in the congress and will represent OFW

Former Assistant Secretary Mocha Uson is running for a seat in the House of Representatives as a nominee of AA- Kasosyo.

Uson on Monday filed before the Commission on Elections her certificate of nomination and acceptance as a representative of the OFW party-list group.

Asked is she has any idea how many OFWs will support her, Uson replied: “Meron po tayong ten million OFWs, isang milyon yata ang rehistrado… madami pa, bahala na po.

Uson also claimed that President Rodrigo Duterte would support her political plan.

Uson said.

Uson recently resigned her post at the Presidential Communications Operations Office ahead of the filing of COC’s and amid lawmakers’ demands that she appear before a congressional hearing on the PCOO’s budget for 2019.

Uson had courted controversy for allegedly spreading online disinformation.

She also drew criticisms from the public after posting a racy video on federalism and a video of her friend, blogger Drew Olivar, flailing his arms around pretending to do the sign language of the Deaf community
