MOH releases updated list of approved COVID-19 vaccines

The Ministry of Health on Wednesday, March 22, 2022, announced a newly updated list for all vaccines approved in the Sultanate of Oman and adopted by the World Health Organization.

The Ministry has adopted all vaccines that are used in a number of countries and adopted by the regulatory organizations and authorities

Vaccine manufacturer and trade name (Two doses at least 14 days aparat)

  1. AstraZeneca (Vaxzevria , Covishield)
  2. Pfizer- BioNTech (Comirnaty)
  3. Moderna (Spikevax or Takeda Japan)
  4. Sinopharm (Beijing) (Covilo)
  5. Sinovac (CoronaVac)
  6. Bharat Biotech (Covaxin)
  7. CanSinoBio (Convidecia)
  8. Novavax (Nuvaxovid) (Covovax)
  9. Gamaleya Research Institute (Sputnik V)

Single dose vaccines:

  1. Johnson & Johnson ( Ad26.COV2.S ) .
  2. Sputnik Lite
