Muscat Festival will be bigger and longer!
Celebrations of the 2020 edition of the Muscat Festival will be held across all 11 governorates of Oman, and will feature many new events and activities.
“The municipality is working hard with other institutions and authorities to prepare the 2020 Muscat Festival to be more enjoyable and exciting to attract visitors among our citizens and residents, as well as tourists from outside the Sultanate, in order to promote tourism in Oman, and for the public to be acquainted with the most prominent activities and events that are part of the Sultanate.”
“Muscat Festival celebrations will continue in all the governorates and wilayats of the Sultanate, until the end of 2020 and will not be limited only to the duration of the festival.”
The Muscat Festival is scheduled to run from January 16 to February 15.
This festival will include activities and shows that have not been previously featured at the Muscat Festival, with this edition of the Muscat Festival being celebrated in such a manner to celebrate the country’s 50th National Day, and the occasion of the New Year.
A host of cultural, entertainment, heritage and sporting events will be held at the festival, which will be hosted across a number of sites.
“The Muscat Festival will be held from January 16 to February 15, and this will mark the start of the events and other activities that will last until the end of the year 2020,” said the Muscat Municipality official. “This will last until the end of the year 2020, which coincides with the Sultanate’s glorious 50th National Day celebrations.”
There are 11 governorates across Oman: Dhofar, Wusta, North and South Sharqiyah, Dakhiliyah, Dhahirah, North and South Batinah, Buraimi, Muscat and the northern Governorate of Musandam.
