Oman suspends entry of travelers from Philippines and Eqypt

The Supreme Committee to deal with COVID-19 has decided to add those coming from the Arab Republic of Egypt and the Philippines to the list of countries that previously decided to suspend entry to Oman, starting at 9 am on Friday 7 May 2021 – until further notice.

The Supreme Committee to deal with COVID-19 has decided to add those coming from the Arab Republic of Egypt and the Republic of the Philippines and those coming from any other country if they had passed through any of the two countries during the 14 days preceding the request for entry to the Sultanate.

The Supreme Committee also decided to extend the suspension of entry into the Sultanate until further notice for those coming from the Republic of Sudan, the Lebanese Republic, the Republic of South Africa, the Federal Republic of Brazil, the Federal Republic of Nigeria, the Federal Republic of Tanzania, the Republic of Ghana, the Republic of Guinea, the Republic of Sierra Leone, the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, the United Kingdom, the Republic of India, the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, the Republic of Bangladesh, and those coming From any other country if they passed through any of these countries during the 14 days prior to the application for entry to the Sultanate.

‎Omani citizens, diplomats, health workers and their families are excluded from the above, and the excluded groups will be subject to the procedures adopted upon entering the Sultanate.
