Oman will impose night lockdown from June 20, 2021

The Supreme Committee on Saturday had decided to prevent the movement of individuals and vehicles and to close all public places and commercial activities (while allowing home delivery) between 8 pm and 4 from Sunday, until further notice.

Some activities and categories have been exempted from the decision, which was announced in the previous lockdown.

The committee examined reports on the epidemiological situation of the Covid 19, especially the increase in the number of cases, patients in hospitals and intensive care rooms, and also the number of deaths.

The Sultanate is witnessing unprecedented pressure to deal with cases associated with this disease, the SC said.

The Supreme Committee confirms that all health sector institutions, especially the Ministry of Health will continue to implement the national plan for immunization against Corona disease (Covid 19).
