Pinay OFW Seeks Tulfo’s Help After Almost Being Raped By Her Employer And Neglected By Her Agency

In desperation to escape the abusive employer, Rizalyn Barrandino, a domestic helper in Riyadh, calls the attention of Tulfo’s team. She pleads Tulfo to rescue as her agency did not take action despite her complaint that her male employer almost raped her. Tulfo is a well-known broadcaster who helps aggrieved people obtain justice.

Her Pleads

According to her, she tried to call her agency and pleads them to pull her out from her employer. It is because his male employer tried to molest her. A certain Danilo from the Malorata International Manpower Agency agency instructed her to relay her complaint to her female employer.

Rizalyn was in doubt if she would believe her, so she requested the agency to talk to her employer regarding her complaint personally. Unfortunately, they just disregarded her plead.

Blackmail

Her female employer also personally send her to her agency, but the wicked agency just brought her back to her employer’s house. They even blackmailed her that if ever she insists on returning to the Philippines, she will shoulder all the expenses, including the plane ticket. Rizalyn asked for OWWA’s help, and they promise to contact her agency.

The day before Rizalyn asked for Tulfo’s support, the agency called her and forced her to lie. They command her to tell OWWA that her employer is the one who will shoulder her plane ticket.

Quick Action

After hearing the story, Tulfo’s team quickly call Rizalyn’s agency, but no one was answering as if they avoiding the call. So instead, he called the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) and sought their help to rescue Rizalyn. The OWWA representative quickly took all the information so that her request will be processed immediately.

Tulfo promised Rizalyn that she would be pulled out from her employer’s house before the day ends and returned to the Philippines as soon as possible. He even told her not to worry about her unpaid salary.  According to the law, the agency should shoulder all her unpaid wages.
