One of the most challenging thing an Overseas Filipino Worker faces every time he or she leaves our country is their cravings for pinoy dishes. We are known to prepare the best home-cooked meals and that we love to eat too. When I moved here in Oman, I was so delighted to eat in one of the pinoy restaurants who serves not only the most palatable dishes but its Filipino ambience makes you feel nostalgic.
Good thing is we are now enjoying our pinoy dishes not only thru the established restaurants but also with the fast food chains which were franchised in order to cater us. And recently, a new Filipino cuisine restaurant has opened its door also at Al Khuwair near Mars Hypermarket.
Pinoy Chix is a new restaurant in town is sure to treat your taste buds with a scintillating variety of Filipino food. The fine dining restaurant is open from 10:00am to 11:00pm and during weekends till 12:00AM to serve families and friends who love to spend some quality time together and also enjoy some authentic Filipino cuisine.
“We came up with the ideas of opening an outlet for families and friends to savour authentic Filipino cuisine and also to spend some quality time”, said Helen Grace, marketing manager of Pinoy Chix.
