The Government Communication Center (GC), has announced important measures that should be followed to prevent the spread of coronavirus during shopping.
A statement issued online by the GC said:
- Make sure to wash or sterilise your hands before entering the shopping center.
- Don’t take family members, especially children and the elderly.
- Prepare your shopping list in advance.
- It is preferred to use your own shopping bags.
- Avoid touching objects that you do not need.
- Make sure that the shopping cart is sterilized.
- Use electronic payment.
- Make sure not to shop at peak times when the shopping center is crowded.
- Keep safe distance of at least 2 meters between you and others.
- Clean your shoes with diluted chlorine or bleach by adding 10 to 15 ml of bleach to a litre of water and then spray it on the surfaces you need to sterilize and clean.
- Make sure to wash your hands very well with soap and water and change your clothes.
- When you go back home take out the items from bags and dispose the bags directly by throwing them into the trash.
