ToggleStep 1:
- Arriving OFWs will immediately have swab test at the airport. This is administered by Philippine Red Cross and Philippine Coast Guard.
- While waiting for the swab test results at quarantine facilities, OWWA will continuously provide accommodation and food assistance.
Step 2:
- Swab test results will be released by the Philippine Red Cross.
- Philippine Red Cross submits results to the Bureau of Quarantine. This will take approximately 3-5 days. If tested negative, they are allowed to go home. If tested positive, they are endorsed/referred to hospitals
- If cleared, Bureau of Quarantine issues individual certificates.
- Department of Interior & Local Government coordinates with home Local Government Unit.
Step 3:
- Transportation assistance will be provided by the Department of Transportation.
- OWWA will shoulder costs for mercy flights and voyages to Visayas and Mindanao
