Repatriation of OFWs from Oman flight schedule for July

Good news my fellow kababayan in Oman.

The Philippine Embassy in Oman has released an advisory update about the repatriation due to COVID-19 pandemic.

Read below:

REPATRIATION FLIGHTS SCHEDULED TO LEAVE MUSCAT IN JULY

The Philippine Embassy in Muscat expresses its appreciation to all Filipino nationals in Oman for their cooperation and for abiding by the advisory on repatriation because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Embassy is delighted to announce the following dates for the next special repatriation commercial flights to the Philippines by Oman Air WY2843 (Muscat-Manila):

Those who wish to be repatriated by way of the said flight are advised to book directly with Oman Air. Passengers who may need medical certification and other health documents as part of airline boarding procedures should obtain them prior to departure. Kindly check with the airline as to the requirements and procedures on this regard. Also, the Embassy assumes that all visa cancelation procedures will be attended to by the respective employers or sponsors as required by Oman government regulations.

Please also refer, for guidance, to the previous advisory of the Embassy on repatriation flights: https://muscatpe.dfa.gov.ph/newsroom/news-and-press-releases/1075-pr-44-2020-advisory-update.

The Embassy reiterates its assurance that it shall continue to arrange for repatriation flights to the Philippines for Filipino nationals in Oman affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and who wish to be repatriated until airline and airport operations in Muscat are normalized. Advisories shall be issued as details of the repatriation flights are finalized.

Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
