The Supreme Committee on COVID-19 on Monday, February 28, 2022, has issued new decisions, the following decisions are:
- Entry into Oman will be allowed for those fully vaccinated without the need for a PCR examination report from March 1, 2022.
- Mandatory face masks only in closed spaces
- Allowing hotel establishments to operate at 100% of their capacity
- The committee also decided to resume a 100% regular attendance system in all academic levels, with a commitment to all precautionary health measures; starting Sunday, March 6, 2022.
- The Supreme Committee also decided that activities at halls, conferences, international exhibitions and other mass activities should continue to be held at 70% capacity provided that precautionary measures are adhered to.
