The Philippine Coast Guard has announced today that returning OFWs and non-OFWs will undergo home quarantine starting June 1, 2020.
PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT: The Sub-Task Group for the Repatriation of OFWs has announced that starting today, 01 June 2020, all OFWs, Filipino seafarers, and returning overseas Filipinos (non-OFWs) who will arrive at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) will undergo HOME QUARANTINE after their swab test administered at the airport, provided that:
1) They are residents of the National Capital Region (NCR); and
2) They will be picked up at the airport by one family member or driver with a proof of NCR residency.
They shall remain in isolation in their respective homes, following stringent health protocols while waiting for the result of their RT-PCR test for COVID-19.
In tweet reply by NAIA, they have mentioned the same procedure
Beginning June 1, OFWs and OFs who are RESIDENTS of NCR, will be allowed to go on HOME QUARANTINE after being swabbed in NAIA. They can be picked up by relatives from NAIA subject to proof of NCR residency (for the driver). Only driver will be allowed to be with the passenger.
