Where to buy Pork products in Oman

Pork is served in most dining table in the Philippines. Sometimes, this meat is cheaper than fish or seafood so Filipinos opt for this viand and get used to it.

But if you move to the Middle East to work as an OFW, things changed when in terms of food, you will seldom find pork, if you are lucky enough to find one, and it is expensive! Not to mention, it is not widely available in those hypermarkets and groceries.

Pork is considered haram or forbidden in the Muslim culture but there are places and shops that have a license to sell this meat. Pork counters are marked “FOR NON-MUSLIM”.

So where to buy Pork in Oman? Here is a list of shops where you can buy Pork.

These shops have the most pork products including, ham, bacon, sausages and even chips.
