Yellow Cab Pizza Co – NY’s Finest Pizza, Al Mouj, Muscat

I was in the Philippines when they have opened their first branch here in Muscat. This was last July, and there have been a lot of buzz going around in social media about this newly opened pizza house. Yellow Cab Pizza Co has always been on my to-try list when I was back from vacation! And I finally had the chance to try it.

Yellow Cab serves New York-style pizza with premium ingredients and generous toppings. But wait, what is New York-style pizza anyway? Unlike the pizza you’re used to, New York-style pizza is crisp and slightly charred in the bottom, dense and chewy in the middle, and slightly gooey on top. And that’s just the crust. Top it off with a generous serving of the freshest, highest-quality ingredients, and you get – simply put – great New York-style pizza.

So this is how it goes…

We have tried the Garlic Parmesan chicken wings 4pcs – 1.6 RO and the Barbecue chicken wings 4pcs – 1.6 RO – luckily they are providing plastic gloves so I have enjoyed eating the chicken wings without hesitation or worrying on how messy my hands will become after I devoured those chicken wings!

Yellow Cab Pizza is well-known for its Charlie Chan pasta, but this time, we opt for the Spaghetti Meatballs – 2.8 RO and the Penne Alfredo(shrimp) – 3.1 RO, the amount of their pasta serving is enough to fill a hungry tummy – delicious, cream sauce that totally bathes the pasta noodles, and generous chunks of chicken strips and meatballs make this dishes a final blow. But wait, where are the pizzas?

My visit to this pizza house will not be complete without trying their pizza of course. So we ordered New York’s Finest 14 inches – 6.2 RO and the Manhattan Meat Lovers 14 inches – 6.2 RO.  These 14 inches pizzas will feed the whole barkadahan I promise, because based on my experience, we didn’t manage to finish any of the two pizzas where there were 4 slices left on both orders.

To quench your thirst after you won the fight between food and man, the Iced tea in pitcher – 3.1 RO is enough for 4 persons. Although they are offering a bottomless iced tea for 1.2 RO.
