Yummy Belgian Waffle & Crepe

Part of our lives as OFWs or expats is to treat ourselves with delectable food during weekends when we are off from our work. It’s nice after all to pamper ourselves once in a while so we can also enjoy our hard earned money. So my friends and I decided to try some crepe desserts and we tried to eat at Yummy.

Yummy Waffles specializes in quality Belgian Waffles since 2013 .The company inherits the original recipe of the Liege Waffle that features pearl sugar that caramelizes on the outside of the waffle and melts inside when baked, giving it a soft yet crunchy texture.

The ability to maintain the rich heritage through the waffle without compromising on the quality of ingredients over the years has made the business grow to new heights and gain the trust of new clientele.

The products are prepared only with the finest quality ingredients to give finest quality products to its customers and franchises. The clients benefit from the long-standing knowledge of dough storage and preservation techniques and advice for the selection and set up of optimal cooking equipment in view of guarantying the unique taste and aspect of the original Liege Waffle.

Yummy Belgian Waffles is an elegant cafe with bright and colorful interiors not to mention the comfortable seating area. Gorgeous tea sets and various kinds of tiny figurines adorn the shelves of the cafe.

Their menu offers a variety of waffles and crepes along with an extensive hot and cold beverage selection.

If you come as a group, you may try their Yummy yum cold drink which is a grape juice and the Yummy Family Drink – an apple juice which serves for 5 persons per drink. The tastes for both flavors were really refreshing.

So, we have ordered the Yummy delight crepe which is one of the best crepe I ever tasted if you are like me who doesn’t have a sweet tooth. We liked the idea of separating the barbecue and garlic sauces, since it gave us the option on which flavor do we want to dip our crepe. Thanks to Ms. Julie for suggesting it too. This dish was really superb and we will surely order this again in our next visit.

Lotus Hour Crepe was not so sweet its flavor stroke our taste buds making our cravings satisfied and we totally savored it. It is so scrumptious and will definitely order it again.

Last but not the least is the Choco Berry Crepe. When it was served we were actually full with the first two dishes but because the fresh fruits on top of it were really tempting so we gave in. It was totally toothsome.

And a few moments later…

This cafe really lived up to what we expected.  Their dishes were presented in a simple yet tantalizing way. The serving portions equate the price per dish. Their staff are very accommodating and friendly. We totally recommend this cafe to everyone.

So if you are in the mood for waffles or crêpes then you should definitely visit Yummy Belgian Waffles at any of their outlet.
